Kingdom Waves is run by local surfers Tom Leen and Jessy
Malone. Both have been surfing on Kerry beaches for over ten years and have
extensive knowledge of local beaches and conditions.
Over the last four years Tom has spent the majority of his time living, working and surfing in Australia. He is an accredited coach with both Surfing Australia and the Irish Surfing Association, and completed his work experience and training in Sydney's Northern Beaches. He has surfed all over but mainly between Australia, Indonesia and Ireland.
Jessy has been lifeguarding on Kerry beaches for eleven years. He’s just back from a year surfing around Australia and Indonesia. He has also surfed extensively in South, Central and North America, Europe and parts of Africa. He has recently completed his level 1 coaching course with the Irish Surfing Association, and is also a qualified swimming instructor.
Kingdom Waves is the only surf school in the area approved by the Irish Surfing Association. We hope to teach surfing to all ages and abilities, but most of all to get you out there having fun on some of the great beaches that Kerry has to offer.
